The Industrial Commission of North Dakota has chosen Jolene Kline as acting executive director of the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA). Kline succeeds Mike Anderson, who is retiring after serving as the agency head for eight years.
“Mike has provided excellent leadership during his term as executive director and leaves the agency with a strong senior management team in place,” Kline said. “I look forward to working with that team, as acting executive director, to continue helping to address the affordable housing issues in the state.”
Kline currently serves as NDHFA’s planning and housing development division director. The planning and housing development division is charged with addressing North Dakota’s housing challenges. She was selected to head the division when it was launched in 2006. Kline has been with the agency since 1985.
“I congratulate Jolene on her appointment,” said Anderson. “I know the agency staff will support her and provide the same commitment they have shown me over the years.”
The Industrial Commission will conduct the search for a permanent executive director for the agency.
